Working on a large scale website build, this role will best suit an individual who thrives under pressure, is well organised, pragmatic and a lateral thinker, can engage with stakeholders of various levels and most importantly, puts their customers first.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager Web Development responsibilities will include; a) Defining and prioritising business requirements and ensuring they are delivered through our user journeys, detailed wireframes, functional specifications, design and into development and launch. b) Working as part of a large and high profile project, you will need to work across multiple IT and customer work streams to ensure a consistent approach, open communications and that the dependencies of and for your work streams are delivered. While there are no people management requirements, you will need to be able to influence others to achieve results. c) Acting as a subject matter expert on the user experience of key aspects of new site. You will be expected to be the voice of the customer at all times. d) As the Customer Lead on a number of work streams you will be require to input into project management activities such status reports, risks & issues logs, update meetings. e) Supporting and undertaking user acceptance testing.
Knowledge/Experience: a) 2:1 Degree b) Online retail experience with a web development/user centred design focus is essential c) You will be able to demonstrate exposure and experience of working on a websites information architecture, user journeys, wireframe design, testing and design briefs. d) You will have worked across the full lifecycle of web development projects define, design, develop and deliver. These will have ideally been in an ecommerce/retail environment. e) Solid technical understanding In order to get the best out of our IT colleagues, you will need to be comfortable having technical conversations & understand the possibilities of online technologies.
