We have an immediate need for a Software Project Analyst/Manage

JOB DESCRIPTION
Working under the direction under the IT Development Director, current seeking a Software Project Manager/Analyst to assist in the implementation of a new Cyborg HR and Payroll System. Qualified Candidates must have: Cyborg (Human Resource Management Solution), Cyborg Scripting, and Microfocus Cobol. Preferential skills include: Report Generator, SQL Server, DB2, Object REXX, Cognos Impromptu, Crystal Reports, Windows Administration, Microsoft Excel and Word, MS Project and Visio.

Experience
-Must have 3 to 5 years experience in software development
-Recent experience of successfully working with delivery of a commercial software product
-College degree or higher preferred, analytic discipline a plus, or equivalent demonstrated experience
-Minimum of 2+ years development, project management and implementation desired

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- As the Software Project Analyst/Manager the candidate will be required to create and maintain an information technology project plan that communicates tasks, milestone dates, status and resource needs
- Work with the IT staff to coordinate and conduct implementation of a new HR and Payroll System
- Will be involved working with HR and Payroll personnel to gathering existing business rules and defining new roles and responsibilities
- Work with the software vendor in the prime role as the implementation consultant
- Coordinate timely delivery of development and production releases that meet quality assurance standards and deadlines
- Assist technical team in creating and test plans and testing efforts
- Manage project timelines, scope and milestones for the project
- Responsible for deliverables including project issues lists, status reports and meeting agendas to include action items
