Description experience: Years Total Compensation: $100K+ JOB DESCRIPTION: Develop strategy of how to use web analytics to optimize business processes. Utilize data and analysis to create presentations that include consice conclusions and recommendations. Integrate data from different sources and track online performance as it relates to the total multi-channel business. Responsible for managing busniess analysis, reporting, and forecasting to teh companys B2B and B2C websites and ecommerce channels, and play a key role in the business planning process. Develop and maintain consistent standardized reporting procedures as well as create ad-hoc reports as needed. Work with business owners to develop benchmark criteria for measuring online metrics and creating and managing KPIs. Develop processes for merging raw website data into applicable databases. Partner withother analysts and business partners to create and present cross functional analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Optimize implementation of Omniture web analytics toolset and utilize traffic and behavioral segments on our sites.
- Manage staff in flawless and timely execution of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Track and analyze sales by marketing drivers and product categories.
- Recognize and understand variances in web and ecommerce performance and the impact of web change; use data to assist in evaluating impact of web and online store changes.
- Analyze results by type of email campaign and provide insight to determine email segmentation.
- Build efficiencies into data model.
- Work with IT department and business partners on data flow requirements and monitoring; perform audits and verify process integrity throughout campaign cycles.
- Assist the online and emarketing team by providing web analytics and insights to make data driven decisions; communicate results to senior management.
- Provide ad hoc decision support via analysis, research projects, and reporting.
- Support for special cross-functional projects.
- Facilitate and monitor the movement of data between partners and vendors.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS Degree
- 5+ years experience in leading a web analytics team.
- Management of two or more associates.
- Deployment and usage of online analytics tools, Omniture a plus
- Understanding of basic SQL Code.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Strong decision making, organization, and prioritizing skills.
- Highly proficient computer skills (including Excel and Power Point)
- Passion for the online marketing space with a solid understanding interactive marketing channels (search, online media, wedsite development, etc.) and direct marketing principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with project management and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Self-directed and self-motivated with a demonstrated work ethic and ability to perform under pressure and meetin deadlines.
