(www.aesi.com) is looking for a Search Algorithm Developer for one of our premier realtime search engine companies in the Bay Area and Boulder, Colorado for a full time opportunity.Job Duties:-Works with other technologists to develop search algorithms to improve search-Develops qualitative and quantitative models of user behavior-Measures and analyzes search quality-Design tests and analysis to support search product direction, search results improvement and search business goals-Becomes a subject matter expert in social search issues and technologies -PhD or Master's in Math, Physics or Computer Science-Experience developing, testing and refining algorithms for search engines-Experience developing modern training algorithms and cost functions for tuning search engines-Real-world experience working with data and algorithms for search engines, indexes or crawlers-Optimization and machine learning skills -SVM-Experience with decision trees-Ability to handle the pressure and fluidity of a start-up environment-Strong collaborative skills and ability to fulfill multiple roles-Entrepreneurial spirit-Ability to think strategically and see the big picture
