RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensure wood products meet all specifications for public communications, including marketing claims and warranty obligations.

- Work closely with operations personnel to resolve field performance issues and implement enhancements as needed.

- Represent Georgia-Pacific Wood Product\'s interests on industry technical committees and issues regarding building/energy codes.

- Participate in new product developments a technical resource and/or a project leader.

EDUCATION - Batchelor of Science degree or higher in Wood Science, Materials, or Engineering

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum of 10 years wood products industry experience or equivalent - Ability to travel 40-50%

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES - Familiarity with a variety of woodproducts such as plywood, OSB, dimensional lumber, treated products, and engineered wood products (I-Joist, LVL) - Knowledgeable about code and standards for building products - Ability to work in a team environment - Communication (written/oral) - Demonstrated leadership capabilities
