Description About the Client:
Our client is a public company in the United States with revenues in excess of one billion US Dollars. . This position is based in Miami , Florida and services facilities in 14 Latin America and Caribbean countries The Leasing Manager of Retail Real Estate is primarily responsible to develop, implement and oversee multi-locations' retail leases for locations in the countries where our client has retail real estate holdings. (Central & South America)
Position is primarily responsible for development (sales) and administration of relationships with
proven international tenants to support long term growth and expansion of retail real estate investments. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Real Estate and manages a support staff of three.
Responsibilities:
Foster multi-locations lease opportunities with proven international tenants
Directs external brokers on the promotion of space for leasing to new prospect tenant
Conducts negotiation of leases under $250K/yr and assists SPV of Real Estate on negotiations of leases over $250K/yr
Determines rules and enforcement procedures for shopping centers
Directs Property Administrator on the execution of maintenance programs
Coordinates with Controllers on rent collection, insurance and property taxes expenditures
Leads preparation of budgets
Re-negotiate with tenants when needed
Assist in evaluating qualifications and progress of in country property management
Travel to countries on an ongoing basis.
Trips may require additional onsite time due to unforeseeable issues
Prepare periodic objectives and status reports
Manage periodic projects assigned by Senior Vice President
Develop goals with Senior Vice President and strive to achieve them
Implement and Document standards, procedures & problem resolution
Adhere to Company policies and procedures
Perform other duties as required by business needs
Requirements:
Experience in negotiations of international retail real estate transactions and international retail property management is a must
Minimum 10 years exposure to international business environments. Experience is Latin America and Caribbean would be considered a plus.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal, written, spoken)
40-60% travelling required
Bachelors Degree
Excellent negotiations skills/sales oriented

Must possess good communication and organizational skills.
Computer skills in Microsoft applications

Compensation:
Salary range USD 90,000 USD 110,000, compensatory with experience. Benefits include; Health insurance, Life insurance and Employee stock option plan.
