Our client, a leading trader of pyre-owned capital equipment, seeks to rapidly scale its team and platform, by adding intelligent, self-starting, and accomplished professionals who would like to be the part of building a significant firm and winning in its market.

Celebrating its th year of continued profitability, the company grew well in excess of 100% in calendar year 2008, and over 250% in the first quarter of 2009. The company is privately held, debt free, and profitable.

In this role, you will be a key player on a dynamic team that has created a leading worldwide on line marketplace for capital equipment, but please note that capital equipment industry experience is not necessary. You will have the opportunity to work entrepreneurial to create sales and profits and be rewarded accordingly.

Your major responsibilities will be to create and manage transactions to closure:

Sourcing and serving potential buyers looking to purchase secondary semiconductor capital equipmentSourcing and serving potential sellers looking to sell secondary semiconductor capital equipmentMatching buyer requirements and seller items for saleNegotiating price and terms with both buyers and sellersSetting and managing client interactions, equipment inspectionsCompleting transaction closing items (working with logistics providers, the Finance Department, and ensuring customer satisfaction)

While members of the sales team is based in Menlo Park, their transactions are global and an ability to work with foreign buyers and sellers is importantQualifications Required:

Forensic attention to detailStrong organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsBachelor degree from an accredited institution; U.S. News and World

Report Top 100 school is preferableMinimum GPA: 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale)

Top quartile standardized test scoresDebate or negotiation skillsHistorical success in a client facing role, especially in salesTeam player willing to coach and be coached by colleagues. Open to development and improvement (i.e., aware of weaknesses and focused on constant improvement)

Professional appearance and demeanorMBA, CFA, CPA or similar degree or certification a plusBenefits include a competitive base compensation and aggressive commission plan, K, excellent health and dental insurance and a collegian,

intense, and supportive work environment. All in compensation is expected to be approximately $150,000 to $400,000 per annum.
