Location: Klamath Falls, OR 97601 in Klamath Falls County
Employment Trends has teamed up with a well established, progressive company and we are looking for an experienced Employee Advocate to join their team. This position will be working closely with our insureds to provide claims reporting information, provide tools to assist our insureds with writing job descriptions that meet doctor restrictions, assisting our insureds in developing hiring procedures and coordinate return to work opportunities with our insureds and injured workers.
Job Duties:
- Manage assigned caseload of medical and disability workers compensation claims.
- Communicate with insured, injured employees, medical professionals, claims staff and others to obtain information necessary to develop return to work plan with the insured.
- Provide employment tools to our insureds, including hiring practices and job descriptions
on. - Ability to research State specific laws regarding employment as related to Workers Compensation.
- Coordinate return to work opportunities with nurse case manager.
- Work as liaison between insureds and third party administrator to positively effect claim outcome.

Qualified Candidates must possess the following:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively communicate with injured employees, medical professionals, employers, claims staff and others.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Outlook and Office.
- Able to read and understand medical chart notes.
- Able to communicate with all levels of company personnel and insureds.
- Able to demonstrate working knowledge of classification codes.
- Able to read and interpret financial and statistical data related to performance of job duties.
