Skill and knowledge required to properly troubleshoot and rectify mechanical and electrical control function deficiencies including relays, contactors, controllers and replacement of defective gearboxes/drive units, remove and replace hydraulic hoses, hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic seals, remove and replace bad/worn electric motor and brakes on forklifts and other powered equipment. Experience and knowledge necessary to properly service and maintain Man Lifts, Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Maintenance Carts and Maintenance Trucks.
This role is on the PM Weekend shift. Hours are 6pm-6am Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities including performing material handling equipment troubleshooting and repair; basic activities such as electrical, plumbing, drywall and painting; office furniture moves and setups.
Maintains building, equipment, shop and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition.
Completes work orders for work performed and includes parts and inventory used.
Document all work order activities to comply with MP2 requirements, providing documented records of the activities performed.
Follow lockout-tag out procedures, confined space procedures, and other safety and environmental procedures and policies as required.
Minimum of 3 year industrial maintenance experience with forklifts, controls, hydraulics
Electrical experience with high and low DC voltage.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
Proven track record of strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Welding skill preferred, but not required.
Technical school or training desired.
Must be computer literate.
Possession of a valid driver\'s license and a satisfactory driving record.
