We are currently seeking a Network Engineer for our New York City, NY office.

JOB SUMMARY: The duties of this position are to provide advanced IT support, project management and implementation support, network design and topology, network integration as well as service, and support of existing Hill-Rom IT Solutions’ products.
Additionally, other duties will be assigned as required to support the business and delight the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained while considering business unit goals and fiscal responsibilities inclusive of utilization and billability guidelines.
* Organize, manage, and lead network architecture, system fail-over, and other technical system design discussions with customer IT, MIS or biomed departments, installation contractors, and other trades as required.
Execute all installation and service tasks per protocol.
* Perform site surveys, RF surveys (if applicable), develop system integration plans using multiple vendor products, & coordinate with customer IT or MIS departments
* Actively participates as team member resolving technical support troubleshooting to resolution
* Implement and maintain network and server documentation
* Act as a technical liaison with all business partners and internal Hill-Rom stakeholders
* Off-hours coverage and emergency support as needed, and possess a broad knowledge of corporate business practices, strategies and business objectives.
Perform on call responsibilities per specified schedule or as otherwise prescribed by the supervisor.
* Must possess the ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables with limited supervision and be able to work independently or in a small team environment
* Work with customer IT departments to assess and evaluate network security needs and develop policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of specified customer servers and network topology.
Understands back-end network security.
* Actively participates as a team lead resolving technical support troubleshooting to resolution
* Adhere to all individual administrative and regulatory requirements.
