Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Senior Energy Engineer to support commercial, institutional and residential energy efficiency programs across the Northeast. Candidates must possess strong technical capabilities including knowledge of high performance HVAC and green design. The Senior Energy Engineer will work collaboratively with the Energy Services team to develop market transformation programs that encourage energy efficiency and green building in multiple states. The Senior Energy Engineer will work with Program Managers to build, manage and mentor a team of junior engineers and technical specialists.

Key responsibilities include:

• Build and manage technical services staff, outsourced engineers and contractors;
• Collaborate with Program Managers and program implementation teams to design energy efficiency programs including the development of technical protocols, quality assurance procedures, and incentive schedules;
• Manage the completion of facility audits, feasibility studies and reports that are related to both program implementation and projects;
• Quality control of energy retrofit and upgrade strategies for buildings including project development and review of installations;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed clients expectations;
• Manage budgets and perform resource planning;
• Collaborate with management team to further develop the energy program franchise; and
• Collaborate with senior management to perform business development

Required Skills:

• Team oriented with diverse technical ability and leadership capabilities;
• Experienced in a fast-paced consulting environment with exceptional attention to detail and client service;
• Highly skilled energy and engineering generalist with a strong knowledge of energy efficiency technologies, energy efficiency program design and implementation;
• Successful in developing and implementing plans and managing budgets and resources;
• Have outstanding communication skills, both spoken and written;
• Ten-plus years of experience in engineering, project management or consulting;
• A proven track record of success
