Title: Director of External Reporting

Location: Alameda, CA

Salary: $150,000/year

The Director of External Reporting will oversee all aspects of the Company's external financial reporting needs under rules governed by Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and US GAAP.

• Preparation, review, and file quarterly and annual SEC filings. Coordinate efforts with internal groups (including, Legal, FP&A, IR, Marketing, Executive Office) and external auditors to facilitate SEC filings. Control the process for obtaining, reviewing, assessing and incorporating comments that are included in the SEC filings.

• Prepare financial statements, footnote disclosures and MDA for SEC filings. Maintain adequate support and documentation for all information included within each SEC filing.

• Support preparation of financial statements and other financial data for press releases

• Establish monthly and quarterly worldwide financial reporting calendar

• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 key controls for external reporting processes

• Work with independent auditors to ensure they have proper access to accounting records for completion of their quarterly reviews and annual audits

• Review, analyze, document and conclude on technical accounting transactions, as they arise

• Work on special financial-related projects

• Manage and support a team to facilitate quarterly and annual closings and SEC filings

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree in accounting, 10+ year's public/private accounting, with publicly multi-billion traded technology company experience

• Multinational experience (China, Taiwan)

• Detail-oriented and strong documentation skills

• CPA (must have) with MBA (a plus)

• Strong financial reporting, accounting and analytical skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently

• Strong communication skills, particularly in working with an International (China, Asia) team

• Strong management skills and ability to delegate responsibilities and manage staff

• Appropriate handling of confidential information

* Holds position recently or concurrently

* Has been at previous positions for 2+ years (unless some were contract assignments)
