Job Responsibilities:

As the new Director of Accounting, reporting to the Regional Controller you will supervise 4 direct and 16 indirect. Your responsibilities will be to provide overall management and direction to the General Accounting, Payroll, and Accounts Payable functions of the organization which will require the new Director of Accounting ensure all financial statements and data fairly represent the financial condition of the organization and the financial statements and data are prepared accurately and issued on timely basis and that they are prepared in accordance to GAAP and any new FASB pronouncements.

50% of this position is going to be recurring accounting activity mentioned above from month to month. The other 50% is going to be related to special projects and being engaged with other operating units of the organizations. As the new Director of Accounting, the key to your success is to be fully engaged with your staff, your direct report and other operating units of the organization.

Requirements Include:

- BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.

- Five to eight years of supervisory experience.

- Rock solid exposure to GAAP and FASB interpretations and application.

- Technical experience in statutory acc
