Development Project Manager



to join the Insurance Operations team in



Lincoln, NE.





Job Responsibilities:

Perform all duties of project management involving communication, forecasting, managing, and status reporting

Identifies new business opportunities, documents and promotes them as required to both the client and Senior Management

Provides communication point for client and administrative teams in regards to on-going projects and developing new initiatives

Maintain project efforts within the anticipated timeline and budget providing explanations for differences and explanations for the customers

Recommend project priority placement for all projects

Negotiates client’s issues and involves the Client Relationship Manager in relationship issues

Delivers projects within committed timeline and budget or provides satisfactory explanations for deviations



Required Skills:

Experience managing large complex projects

Experience with MS Project or other scheduling tools

Ability to orally present system changes, both simple and complex, to various groups

Candidates must have solid project management experience

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several variables



Desired Skills:

Multiple years of insurance industry experience with life and annuity products.

LOMA coursework or designations.

Minimum 1 year analysis experience writing detailed design documents or technical specifications.



Minimum Educational Requirements:

Bachelor degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University



Minimum Certifications or Professional Credentials

Candidate must have a PMP Certification
