Duties:
\" This job requires ETL hands on work and some designer work. The role of these engineers encompasses the load verify publish data. These engineers are also work in conjunction with the Data Modeller and Architects to create, modify, or update data flows from the Source Systems to Staging; Staging to Repository; and Repository to Reporting (OLAP Cubes and Data Marts).
Perform analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of Ab Initio and Informatica software components
Follow ETL development guidelines, standards and procedures
Must be able to address overall data quality via ETL profiler tool, including the design of ETL strategies to source, match and merge from various disparate systems.
Participate in requirements, design, and code reviews and get the big picture.
Maintain the ETL metadata repository in a multi-user environment
Lead the project independently and communicate with Business Analysts, and QA team.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business team members

Qualifications:
\" 10+ years of total development experience with 7+ years Informatica development
- Experience with Abinitio development would be a plus
- Experience as Informatica designer skills are required. Experience in developing best practices and standards for ETL is required.
- Experience with 3NF, star schema and OLAP modeling
- Experience with Oracle,Teredata, DB2 and SQL
- Experience with UNIX internals and shell scripting
- Deep knowledge of Informatica deployment (followed by Abinitio), development and architecture
- Understanding of change management and automation/repeatability
- Strong knowledge and use of full lifecycle development methodologies, standards and procedures
- Ability to multi-task and provide expertise for multiple development teams across concurrent project tasks
- Resourceful and self starter with minimal hand holding required
- Good team work and communication skills
