Job Description



Our team of Customer Service Representatives delivers world class customer service and builds customer loyalty, one service request at a time. You will join a team of associates who are confident and knowledgeable about the Bank of America products we offer to our customers.







While working in our Ft. Worth contact center you will be expected to use your interpersonal skills to efficiently assist and provide a memorable experience to our customers who may have questions or issues regarding their accounts. You will use our state-of-the-art computerized system to enter data, for tracking, information gathering, reference and/or troubleshooting. You may research issues or transfer to a research requests. In addition, you may be required to offer other products/services to our customers. To ensure your success, you must attend six weeks of training. Upon completion of your training you will be empowered to solve problems independently in a service results driven environment.







Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 2:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. (2nd shift) and Saturday start times vary from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and end times varying according to start times 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.



Training Schedule: 6 weeks M-F 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Our Customer Service & Sales Representatives provide service and financial solutions to more than 179 million phone customers and approximately 5.1 million e-mail and text chat customers each year, making our contact centers among the busiest in the country. Our associates service accounts that consist of Small Business Banking, Card, Online Banking, Banking Centers, Consumer Checking, and Savings. In addition to our associates servicing our customer\'s needs, our Integrated Voice Response application can assist customers with some of the most common inquiries and transactions.

Requirements:


  • Ability to work within the operating hours and days for this position as outlined in the posted job requisition.


  • Ability to work the required days and hours as listed in the job requisition without any absences or vacation time in order to attend mandatory training


  • At least an intermediate ability in computer skills


  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with customers


  • At least 1 year of experience handling difficult situations with customers


  • Intermediate proficiency (1-3 years of experience) in written and verbal communications


  • At least 1 year of experience working in sales







Desirable skills/experience:


  • Ability to work weekends, either rotating or set days as outlined in the job requisition


  • Ability to work evenings, either rotating or set days as outlined in the job requisition


  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the Banking/Financial industry


  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in a call center


  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in customer relations


  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience performing repetitive tasks based on existing operating procedures under close supervision or from detailed written procedures
