Job Description:
Working in a dynamic environment, assiting the Contracts Administrator is responsible for providing support to the Contracts department in the administration of government customer contracts and subcontracts in accordance with Company policy and procedures and applicable laws. This is a growth opportunity to develop a career in the area of Contracts Management.
Specific duties may include:
· Assist in the Administration of prime contracts and task orders from proposal phase to closeout which includes assisting team in negotiating the terms and conditions of such documents as Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements, reviewing contracts, modifications, task orders for accuracy, ensuring task orders and modifications are in compliance with prime contract/subcontract and/or proposal, coordinating the renewal and extension of contracts, facilitating the internal sign-off process, and entering contractual information into JAMIS.
· Prepare transmittal letters and other correspondence for various routine requests such as for funding modifications, key personnel changes, etc.
· Work closely with Finance team by ensuring accuracy and timely billing and payment of invoices.
Required Skills:
(1) Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
(2)1 year contracts/Subcontracts administration experience, preferably in a government contracts environment.
(3) Must have the ability to foster and maintain solid relationships with customers, both internal and external.
(4) Need to be organized and maintain a systematic approach to the daily functions.
(5) Should also be able to multitask, work independently and in a group and have business acumen and effective verbal and written communication skills.
(6) The ideal candidate is a self-starter with ambition and the desire to grow their capabilities.
(7) Must be detail-oriented, able to work independently and able to manage multiple assignments in a timely and accurate manner, and possess strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
(8) Additionally, must possess the ability to interface well with people of different disciplines and all professional levels.
(9) Moreover, must have an ability to research issues to determine potential courses of action in problem resolution.
Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Desired Skills: Demonstrated ability to research federal regulations and determine meaning and applicability.
Education & Major: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or related degree or equivalent experience.
