Description Our client, one of the Midwest's leading High End Commercial Architectural Millwork Firms, is growth oriented, and is in need of a Business Development Professional with Solid Contacts and Relationships in the Midwest to join their team. Business Contributions: Manages Company Sales and Marketing efforts while reporting directly to Company President.
Key Responsibilities: * Develops Business Opportunities with New Clients. * Furthers Business Opportunities with Existing Clients. * Allow Company to have the opportunity to Bid 100% of Targeted Customer Projects. * Manages Marketing Tools; Advertisements, Web Page, Job Site Pictures, Trade Shows, etc. * Manages Pre-Qualification Process and Company's Review Process of New Customers.
Required Capabilities: * Understands the Construction Process with emphasis on Finish Stages; Framing, Drywall, Finish Carpentry, Flooring, Trim, etc. * Use MicroSoft Word and Excel * Ability to exchange Information with Co-workers, and work effectively as part of a Team. * Strong Communication Skills * Operate Company and Personal Vehicle safely.
Essential Functions: * Develop Relationships commensurate with Sales Contract Goals for Company. Relationships are to include Existing Customers and Potential Customers. * Develop and meet Budgets for Spending Activities to meet Sales Goals and Objectives. * Manage Marketing Tools ( including Advertisements, Web Page, Trade Shows etc.) * Update Web Page with New Job Site Pictures on a regular basis. * Manage New Customer or State Development Process. Request New Customer's Contracts and Pre-qualification, if any, and provide to Controller. * Recieve Invitations to Bid and pick up Bid Materials, if necessary, and route to Estimating Department with; Duration Schedule, Bid Due Date, and any other pertinent Information about the Project or the Client. * Follow up on Bids that are sent to the Clients prior to the Award Date. Focus is to try to have another look at the Bid. * Review Drawings, Contracts or Bids with Clients, if needed. * Participate in Trade Associations that will further the Business of the Company. * Other Tasks as assigned by the President of the Company. Must have AWI experience
