Job Description: Work directly with closely held corporations, partnerships, sole-proprietors, non-profits and municipalities with annual revenue up to $10 million and real estate investors with commercial lending needs up to $2 million.
Help business entities, owners and their employees to reach their goals by advising them on financing growth and acquisitions, managing cash flow, reducing operating costs, and reducing risk.
Grow and increase assigned business deposit and loan portfolio.
Achieve individual loan and deposit sales goals plus partner with an assigned group of branches to accomplish the same.
Expand your customer base through networking and calling on current customers within your assigned community.
Implement, coordinate and support client on-boarding.
Develop and maintain close relationships with assigned internal partners, such as Branch Managers, Mortgage Loan Originators, Cash Management Officers, Financial Advisors and Commercial Banking Relationship Managers along with developing external referral sources.
Coach, guide and direct branch staff, on sales and service activities related to small business banking lending, deposits, and cash management products.
Job Requirements: Formal credit training- commercial credit analysis of balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
Comprehensive understanding of banking, finance and key financial metrics.
Successful record of sales and service excellence, with demonstrated leadership in sales, sales management, negotiation, presentations, coaching and problem-solving.
Previous experience as a business banking officer, small business banking representative, commercial lender, relationship manager, branch manager, financial center manager, or business development officer preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of business banking experience.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Successful completion of the National City Sales Assessment.
