VACO has an immediate opening for strong Business Analyst in RTP, NC! We are seeking a top Business Analysis candidate with at least five years of lead experience eliciting, analyzing, documenting and managing requirements for IT systems. This senior-level Business Analyst will be working to capture requirements to support the implementation of an enterprise-wide healthcare/pharmaceutical system. Qualified candidates should have in-depth experience completing functional and user specification documents, as well as must be a strategic thinker, results driven, detailed orientated and capable/comfortable of assuming responsibility for analysis assignments in order to work with minimal supervision.

This candidate should have experience in-depth expertise with process modeling and mapping. Also, experience working with formal development methodologies, be knowledgeable of various business analysis techniques and have experience maintaining requirements following a formal change control process is a must.

Requirements:
* Absolute minimum of five years of Business Analysis experience (must be most recent work experience)
* Should have experience modeling business processes and data and capable of drafting logical data models
* Strong communication, organizational, prioritization and leadership skills
* Detailed orientated with strong analytical aptitude
* Experience in writing functional and user specifications
* Experience with formal development methodologies
* Experience with various business analysis elicitation/analysis techniques
* Must be able to lead group discussions and be comfortable eliciting requirements from geographically dispersed stakeholders
* Candidate must work closely with the BA lead to facilitate progress of assigned project work

Desired:
* CBAP certification and experience with Agile methods a plus
* Clinical/Pharma experience
* BS degree in Computer Science or related field
