The Private Banking and Investment Group (PBIG) provides tailored solutions to meet the sophisticated needs of ultra high net worth individuals. Clients are served by over 125 Private Wealth Advisor (PWA) teams across the country, along a team of experts in areas such as investment management, concentrated stock management and intergenerational wealth transfer strategies
Brief Description
The Business Analyst function within the Private Banking and Investment Group is responsible for a wide-array of activities, including developing financial metrics to support the business analytics function, analyzes potential impact of compensation programs, prepare reports to support compensation programs, structure recruiting deals and analyze economic impact, develop and prepare management reports, support creation of financial metrics, business strategy and other administrative items. Work closely with PBIG field management (Business Managers, Administrative Managers and Client Relationship Managers) to address pressing issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare financial metrics for Business Analytics function- analyzing the product and service profiles of Advisors and clients, to identify gaps and opportunities
- Structure recruiting deals for competitive hires
- Provide analytical support and develop reporting for all PBIG compensation programs and initiatives (including Focus on Growth and PWA Small Household Policy)
- Prepare business reports and financial metrics to support field and home office management
- Help to support strategic initiatives of the Group
- Assist field management in addressing administrative issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or economics
- Advanced degrees helpful (analytical and / or managerial)
- Analytical background. Experience working with ML and other business areas (marketing, administration, Advisory, etc.)
- Comfortable working with advisors and field management. Proficient in suite of MS Applications
- Series 7 and 66 recommended
